A major Christian Event with thousands of Christians gathering for a week of celebration, teaching and outreach...

Tuesday 29th March - Sunday 3rd April 2005, Scarborough

It was time again for members and friends of Nottingham Road Methodist Church to join thousands of others in invading Scarborough for a week of Fun, Inspiration, Meditaion and healing, also to gain as much as they can, from information, updates, resources and ideas, as well as meeting friends and having a great week with friends.

Again we took over the Cellers Hotel on Valley road (One day we will get a picture), 11 rooms all ours packed and ready we set off from Rainy Ilkeston to Sunny Scarborough.

All setting off most arrived around 2:00 onwards (some earlier) and unpacked, relaxed and had tea, prepering themself for the week, unlike me I arrived 1:35 and had to race between the hotel and the Spa in order to Sign and attend the 2 meetings, just having enough time to grad a sandwich before evening celebrations, it was worth it as the voleering I did over the week was great and had made some friends.

Well its tuesday and all is set to go, and now ure expecting a full rundown of what happend well lets but it in simple terms, everyone did different things and due to me doing my stuff I can only give my side so please feel free to add your reports and what you found great. Email me

The Spa Complex

Easter People returns to the Spa Complex, Scarborough for 2005. Here's what the Scarborough Conference bureau have to say about it...

The Scarborough Spa Complex is probably unique among British conference venues not only because of its location, right on the sea front in the scenically beautiful South Bay, but also for the variety of facilities housed in what is largely a magnificent Victorian building.

The three main meeting halls are the Grand Hall, Spa Theatre and Ocean Room. The Grand Hall has a capacity of 1,825, the Spa Theatre 620 and Ocean Room 900.

A number of additional rooms are available for break-out meetings, workshops and seminars and there are a number of bar and refreshment areas within the Complex.

The Programme

The full printed programme is now only available from the event itself. Follow the links to the right to see the latest details of speakers and fringe acts.
