Reaching Out To The Community.

What Is Outreach - Outreach is a main thing to any church, its there way of passing the message of God to the community, informing people of who we are, as well as connecting the church with the community in a more social atmosphere from social nights, Games, sports and others. All events are for Christians and Non-Christians, open to all ages. There is no commitment and we don't force the word to you, enjoy and take with you what you will, what you get out of it is up to you all we ask is give it a go. Events have included Pantomimes, Variety Shows, Quiz, Beatle and Domino nights as well as others, all Groups are involved.

Concord - In the past the outreach has much been in the park or at various churches mainly Nott's Rd, in 2003 we had the opportunity to do the nativity play (the church was always over crowded, we really needed a bigger place) at another venue, the Concorde pub in Larklands opened its arms and we never left, ever since we have had the Christmas event there and has been a full house every time, again mix of Christians and non-Christians

Young People - Seriously, we have had much fun in this area, and is properly not the most publicised, but we have done many things through youth and sports and its had its main play, reaching out to the younger Generation through sports, recreation and workshops using the Basis from Christians in Sport organisation, Other churches and resources from and local community. Youth Week saw the main outreach we did, others have been sports nights with other churches, organised challenges and official tournaments (regional and national), Climbing wall and resources by local mobile projects, Drumming and street dance workshops. It is a perfect opportunity to bring all together and spread the word, off course the main thing is getting them active but the message was still spread. (see sports team)
