And so the journey had begun and hopes where high with changes,
updates and much more. Two months had passed and after leaders came
together, with a new format in place and some changes it was time
again for Leaders and the Youth of Ilkeston to come together again for

26TH JUNE 1999 - Love is The Law -

- The Next Generation took place on the 26th JUNE at
the URC Hall which was to be the New venue for this month and New
style. This time the youth where met with a NEW Style and way,
bigger, darker and wild affects were later said to be much better.
The theme was "LOVE".
With the URC Hall basically under the church there was less
light from outside which made the lighting effects stand out.
There was also more space to stand, dance and places to sit on the
edge. The stage was occupied by another Live Band. Visual effects
were placed onto two screens and projected onto walls. The Disco
Lights came from the band end off the balcony. When the drama was
on the stage the sound was coming from the back of the members. So
surround sound was from all over.
The night was high in attendance and from feedback was a great
night with plenty of music, drama, dancing and much more.
