campaign for 1998 - Liberate'98!
This year's exciting World Action project gives you the chance to speak out for
the people of Burma. Read on for easy ways to get involved in one of THE
BIGGEST global issues of 1998.
Don't know much about Burma? You're not alone.
Burma's terrible story has been kept secret, but we're telling all in
Liberate'98.
The people of Burma are living in fear, unable to speak out about their
conditions. Many suffer torture and beatings and thousands are forced to work
almost as slaves. Will you be their big mouth?
Throughout the year there will be lots of easy actions to take, targeted to make
a real difference. Hope you enjoy them!
